Tom Praszkier

Tom Praszkier not only talks the talk, he walks the walk - in Poland. His globe-trotting resume started when he was 5 years old collecting fossils in Warsaw. Since then, he's been an incredibly prolific field collector looking for minerals in Morocco, Madagascar, Mongolia, India, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, Russia, Norway and the Ukraine just to name a few. Phew!!! Tom is also the president of Spirifer Minerals LLC that exhibits at all the major mineral shows as well as being the author, and sometimes publisher, of numerous magazines, books, talks and articles and, when he’s not doing that, Tom is also busy as the President of the NGO Spirifer Geological Society and running the biggest mineral show in Poland.
