Gail and Jim Spann
Host of Breakfast With Minerals
A Dallas-based husband and wife collecting team who have only been collecting for 12 years, but have managed to build one of the top mineral collections in the United States consisting of nearly 12,000 minerals specimens and have earned the respect of the mineral community.
Gail Spann also serves on the Board for the Perot Museum in Dallas, Texas, the Northwest Rice Museum of Rocks and Minerals in Portland, Oregon and Chairs the Board of The Mineralogical Record.
Gail and Jim also serve on the Mineral Advisory Board of the Peabody Museum at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut and the Board of the Hudson Institute of Mineralogy (dba Mindat.org).
